Everything you need to know about getting a website built — pricing, timelines, process, and ownership. Still stuck? We answer same day.

01 — Pricing & packages

What it costs.

How much does a website cost?+
Sites start at $350 for a single-page Starter and $600 for a 3–5 page Pro. Pricing is built for small businesses — no bloated agency rates. A 50% deposit gets started, the rest is due at launch.
What's the difference between Starter and Pro?+
Starter ($350) is one well-designed page — perfect for getting online fast. Pro ($600) is 3–5 pages (Home, About, Services, Contact) for businesses with more to say. Not sure which fits? We'll figure it out together.
Are there ongoing costs after launch?+
Care & hosting is $49/month — it keeps your site live, secure, updated, and includes hosting when we host it. Add-ons like SEO ($150/mo), Google Ads ($150–200/mo), or booking setup (+$100) are optional. You only pay for what you need.
Do you offer payment plans?+
We work on a 50% deposit, 50% at launch model. If your situation calls for something different, reach out — we're flexible with small businesses just getting started.
02 — Process & timeline

How it works.

How long does it take?+
Starter sites often go live in a few days, and most projects in about a week once we have your content. Larger multi-page sites can take up to two weeks. The faster you share your content, the faster you're live.
What do I need to provide?+
A sense of what you want the site to do, your logo (or tell us if you need one), any photos you'd like to use, and your page text. Don't have it all polished? That's fine — we'll walk you through it on the discovery call.
How many rounds of revisions do I get?+
Every project includes two rounds of revisions. Most clients are happy after the first — we spend real time upfront understanding what you want before building. More rounds can be added if needed.
What does the process look like, step by step?+
Simple: (1) Discovery call — 15 minutes to learn your business. (2) You send content. (3) We design & build — usually a few days. (4) You review, we revise. (5) We launch — and stay on as your partner.
03 — Ownership & tech

Who owns what.

Do I own my website?+
Completely — 100%. You own your domain, your content, and your code. We never hold your site hostage or lock you into a platform you can't leave. Want to take it elsewhere someday? You can.
Can I get changes made after launch?+
Yes — and you don't have to touch code. Updates are handled for you as part of the $49/mo care plan. Need a text change, a new photo, or a service added? Just send a message — most updates are done the same day.
Can I add more pages later?+
Absolutely. Pages can be added anytime after launch — just reach out and we'll quote it based on what you need. Most additions turn around quickly.
What happens if I stop the care plan?+
Your site stays yours — you keep all the files. If we host it and you stop, we give advance notice before anything changes, and you can always move the files to another host.
04 — Common questions

People always ask.

Why do I need a website if I have a Facebook page?+
Facebook is rented land — the algorithm shifts, reach drops, and you don't control how you're presented. A website is yours. It shows up on Google, builds instant credibility, and works for you 24/7. Most customers Google you before they ever call.
How is this different from Wix or Squarespace?+
DIY builders are fine if you have the time and design eye — most owners don't. With SimpliCo. you get a custom-built site without the headache, at a price competitive with a year of Wix. No cookie-cutter templates.
Do you work with businesses outside Indianapolis?+
Absolutely. We work with businesses and organizations remotely across the country. Discovery calls happen over phone or video, and everything else is handled digitally. Location is no barrier.
Do you help with Google Business Profile or local SEO?+
Yes. Google Business Profile setup is a +$150 add-on, and ongoing local SEO starts at $150/month. Both optional — but if you want to show up when someone Googles your service in your city, they're worth it.
